Dont they know that we only have one planet and only one chance to keep it alive. Why do they put corporate $$$$ over everything else?

I don't know if they hate it - but I will agree that sometimes they don't appear, as a party, to take environmental threats seriously. I don't really know why; perhaps they think that if they are ok, everybody else can go to hell?

Yeah, I never understood why "conserving the environment" wouldn't be something conservatives tout and encourage.

Don't generalize. Not every Conservative agrees with issues involving our environment. List examples. List names. Give situations. Don't just throw a sheet over the whole GOP.

Why is it you assume just because conservatives don't believe the garbage that Al Gore and other liberals spew out of their mouth that we hate the environment? Human cause global warming is a myth. Explain how we came out of the Ice ages? Explain why Mars is getting warmer to? Why do liberals see that things like drilling for oil in the Alaskan wilderness would be a positive step for America to become more energy independent? Something you claim you want for America but your actions prove otherwise. Why do most liberals fight against anything that is positive for the U.S.A. Why is "American" a dirty word to you? Why do you hate people that have more than you? If they worked for it don't you think they deserve it? I'm a middle class guy myself but I don't hate rich people just because they have more than me. They worked for it, its theirs, good for them.

Conservatives do not hate the enviroment. They don't like it being used for political motives. Bush is one pushing for alternative fuels and has protected the enviroment. No more Rosie or Michael Moore for ya.

Conservatives don't hate the environment. They simply lack the concern for everyone and everything but themselves. Self-preservation trumps conservation in the corporate world.
