ntuser.dat is a registry hive file that loads as HKEY_CURRENT_USER when a user logs on.

So the short answer is no you can't delete it.

The long answer....
If you have a user that no longer logs in or is disabled and you want to get rid of the documents and settings folders for that user, then yes you can delete it safely. However, the system might still say its in use. Then you'd have to remove it from dos or some other boot device, or one of the many tools that can mark the file for deletion on next reboot.
Basically, if you don't need to delete it, don't.

NTUSER.DAT is the user registry hive (file). It contains all of the system settings for a user (usually the logged in user). If you delete it your computer will most likely no longer function correctly.

It sounds like a javascript problem and that's server related meaning something is wrong with yahoo answers and not your computer. Unless you're using a browser that doesn't support javascript which I highly doubt.
