What year was the Metropolitan Hotel built in Park Lane, London, & how many employees are there currently?

Not sure how many employees there are currently. The most recent annual report on their website is from 2005, so this is probably not going to be much help. Anyway, it is all in German. You could call and ask.

The hotel opened in 1997. Not sure if this is when it was built, or if the building itself is older.

I stayed there the other night - it was awesome and I was so impressed by how lovely all the staff were. Mind you it did cost £600.
