I want to get into acting. On various web sites I have seen that there are books you can purchase to help you gain a better knowledge of "how to" does anyone know which books are best?

Go to your local library. There are dozens of titles. You can look through some of them, then buy the one you like best from a bookstore or online. There are different types of acting, and different information for CA, NY, or elsewhere. Find one that suits you.

My recommendation: "Acting One" by Robert Cohen.
You need talent, looks and a strong will to be an actor.
This book might help you decide if you got what it takes for you to become not another actor but to become a great one.
