I liked it but thought it was too graphic. Some people on Yahoo Answers were talking about Infernal Affairs so I rented it. That was very good and not as violent. But, Scorcese is just keepin it real to his style. The back and forth between Damon and DiCaprio tracking each other was suspenseful. The body splattering on DiCaprio was too much. Most people would be in shock after experiencing such a thing. Scorcese has had an Oscar coming to him for a long time. So if he gets it, I ain't mad at him.

Thought it was excellent; one of the best movies I have seen recently. Will definitely by the DVD. The casting was great (Donnie Wahlberg steals the show); the accents believable; soundtrack perfect (esp the Dropkick Murphys)....it brought back all my memories of living in Beantown.

I loved it.
A great adaptation, amazing actors, fantastic editing. This movie really has it all.
I was on the edge of my seat for the last hour, and so was my sister when she saw it for the first time.
I think Scorsese will finally get Academy recognition for this one.

Great movie! I loved the story and the idea. It was brilliant. I have to say that Smokin' Aces did a fine job as well.

Loved it!
Saw it twice, then bought the DVD. Great story, cast, acting, technical skills...One of my two favorite films of the year.
