Someone told me that a rapper wa recently shot, in the head and the chest, and was barely alive. Does anyone know of this recent event and who it was?

No, but if it's true, it's simply rediculous. Rap is turning into life imitating art instead of art imitating life like it used to.

It is an indication of a bunch of people who idolize street thugs and then wonder why is there violence here?
Like setting a bunch of wild dogs loose and then using them as role models.. Bad idea.

It's something isn't it? Rappers so engulfed into their "lyrics", they actually go out and become the characters of their poetry.
Rap is NOT music; I refuse to even call it such.
And this one dies. Is he/she the lucky one? One might think so.
Think about the 18 year old ones who just finished their second day of a 50 year flat prison sentence and the heart-aching loved ones they pretty much leave behind. Still think Rap is so cool?
