- revolutionary:
- they turn over something ie change gov from monarchy to republic not necessarily extremists.
- an extremist
on the other side does not necessarily have to incite a revolt
just think about a vegetarian who commonly just does not eat meat. but then there are vegetarians who also dont eat products made from animals .. (cheese, milk)
so the latter follows his vegetarian way of life in a more extreme way.
- both revolutionaries and extremists are not necessarily evildoers, nor has violence to be involved.
just think about scientific invention which cause a revolution
ie the industrial revolution
so not all revolutionaries are changing the form of goverment in a state.
- extremists often linked to a certain religion or some political ideology, but there is much more diversity ;)
well i m sorry i could not give you the 6 points however maybe i gave u some idea about the difference.

1> Extremists Believe, revolutionaries act.
2> Extremism is personal, Revolutionism is gobal.
3> An extremist can become a revolutionary. But a revolutionary cannot become an extremist. The basic theme of revolution relates to progress of the cause.
4> Everyone is an extremist. He/she has some basic principles for right and wrong. But everyone is not a revolutionary. Everyone cannot impose his beliefs (assumedly the right beliefs) to the world.
5> Extremists can be wrong. They can also lead to terrorism. Revolutionaries are never wrong.
6> The spelling... LOL (Had to find something for the sixth point)

Extremists and Revolutionaries are to be understood from the platfrom from which they surface.
Basically a Revolutionary is one who wants to bring about a change in the existing scheme of things in and around, through methodologies, though not fully accepted but appreciated by contemporary society.
An extremist on the other hand wants to bring forth a change through violent means, regardless of the damages his actions may cause to the lives in and around, to achieve what he thinks is right.
A Revolutionary is one who is passionate for a change but possibly willing to sit with others (who differ with him) and discuss and possibly tries to win over them.
Extremists do not care for their means to achieve their goal.
History has adored revolutionaries, but not extremists.
Whenever revolutionaries achieved their goals, a new chapter opened up for the people around.
But, when extremists succeed , whatever they achieve lasts only for a limited timeframe.

there were and there are revolutionaries for positive gains for all. Somebody discovers a new economical machinery in some subject which is considered a revolution. you cannot add that category to extremists etc. etc. do you mean those carry guns and arms for their so-called revolution? in that case they are doing it for money. extremists....they are dogs that listen to their masters who provide them alm. both these can be changed by educating them and showing them the truths. but there are paid agents who involve in conversion of people to other religion they are what extremists or revolutionists?

Basic difference is the adopted way and the mission.
Extremists are very frustrated groups and they like to get their goal by violence any how.
Revolutionaries are intelligent people and want the change in society as their thinking's.They also becomes violent but they never kill innocent public.

there is a very thin , imean a hair line gap 2 differentiate between a terrorist& revolutionarist as u know terroist damages the society in order 2 acheive his goal .in this process he destroyes every thing which opposes him .where as a revolutionarist fights against some fixed targets how ever under this process he will be more polite towards the objects out of his focus

The short, textbook answer would be if you're straight, you're attracted to the opposite sex and if you're gay, you're attracted to the same sex. However, if you're someone like me with an open mind, you get that there's a ton of gray area and the lines for sexual orientation are very easily blurred - especially if you're bisexual ;)
