when i let the clutch out there a banging noise and it feels like the engine is going to jump threw the hood at first i thought there might of been a engine mountian loose but they are all tight i have checked the gearbox to make sure that is tight and it is ive been told that this can happen when a new clutch has been fitted and it will go when it has worn in ive only had the car 5 days so i dont know if it has had a new clutch fitted

i have checked the timing the engine runs sweet theres its just every time i engage the clutch there is a bang

I open the door to let my clutch out! so don't get that problem!

one reason could be , the clutch is bolted to the fly wheel with 6 bolts , if any of these is either loose, broken or missing completely ,this will course the clutch to judder or bang, becourse the remaining bolts can't hold the clutch flat on the flywheel and it can feel like the engine is about to drop out .

is the banging noise only when the engine is running? if it does the same without the engine running then it is most likely to be one of the leaves of the clutch pressure plate craked or broken..

sometimes a clutch friction plate can go rusty when not used for a long time and stick to the flywheel this can clear up .if not new clutch will be needed about £300.00

either the clutch is terminally defective or there is a serious fault in the transmission. drive shafts. cv joints or wheel bearings. suggest you seek professional advice on this matter and legal action on the vendor

You might want to check the timing belt or even your timing from within your distributor cap..

Check you cv joints they might be bad, if it's rear wheel drive then it might be the u joints.
