"Where is my machine gun?" as sung by ZUMA and his supporters

or

"De La Rey, who will lead us?" as sung by some Afrikaners

I am an AFRIKANER and the De La Rey song has nothing to do with killing others. De La Rey was actually a General that saw war as an absolute last option.

Where is my machine gun speaks for itself.

Evidently enough people find DelaRey acceptable to provide Bok with triple platinum.
Zuma doesn't have platinum.
He doesn't even have rubber...

I like the De La Rey song. Its just a song about an Afrikaner Hero, and a catchy tune. I don't think there is anything wrong with it.

It's funny, the dela rey song refers to the british and afrikaner, now the blacks think its about them aswell.
The song is fine - no racism, just proud of it's culture.
It is the listeners who overreact.

both...
people have missunderstood De La Rey and Zuma...
Zuma - sings metaphoricaly, saying bring my amour/weaponry to get me ready to fight of this current force in my life bringing me down
De La Rey - i'm not Afrikaaner but its always good to ask those who know Afrikaans to explain the lyrical content, and it says nothing anyone should be scared of... as much as any South African is entitled to celebrate their past, so should the afrikaans coz they're south african as well... thanks

Rubber... lmfao!!! good one vango, bloody good one... (",)

I agree with Innocentia. Both songs are ambiguous.
