In the spirit of "paying it forward" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0223897/), I would donate all of it to charity.

Not because I am generous, but I only have a day to spend the money anyway. Within a day, I wouldn't be able to do much with the money, and frantically trying to find means to spend the money would up the anxiety level - in turn, the money will never be well and meaningfully spent anyway. So giving it to charity would come with greater value and meaning, complemented by the spirit of paying it forward.

(Of course, I would leave at least a portion for myself if I am allowed more than a day to spend it.)

I think I'd like to make a donation to a worthy humanitarian organization so I can share with other people. I can't really think of anything for myself that I could spend a million dollars on in one day.

"Ooh I really not sure if I could spend 1 million dollars in a day, for one thing I know I would more and likely have plenty of it left over"

Well to start off with I would invest into real estate, paid off my bills, and what ever is left over sit on it to collect the interests.

I would buy a MASSIVE property for myself and my parents to live on.

Then I would stock up on pet food and start my own animal centre for abandoned and unwanted animals to live happily until the term of their natural lives.
