Seven-time NBA All-Star, Six NBA Championship rings, One of the 50 Greatest Players of All-time.. My favorite player.

Do you think his career will be desecrated if he comes back for one more stint in the NBA? Should he just stay retired, and concentrate on being active as a non-player (coach, broadcaster)?

Scottie Pippen is a really good player. At 41, he still looks very in shape (compare him to Barkley or Webb and he looks SO athletic!)

For everybody who says he's too old, Mutombo and Robinson are still playing at 40 years old and don't look awful in the NBA...

Thing is, Scottie Pippen is not asking to come back as a starter. I heard he was asking to play about 15 minutes per game just because he likes to play. I don't think it has anything to do with him wanting to be in the spotlight again or anything.

I'm sure many teams could gain a lot with Pippen on the bench...
1. Experience wise. He could teach some of the younger players and I'm sure he would be good against that new generation of players since Pippen is an agressive player.
2. Talent wise. Pippen played with some of the best and is known as one of the 50 geatest players of all-time... No wonder about his capability to play the game
3. Motivation wise. Pippen doesn't want what Jordan wanted in his return, which make it a little more realistic. If he was to play 15 minutes per game, I think it would be perfect.

I think teams like Boston, Atlanta and Memphis should go for it. Many young people who could learn from this living legend.

i believe scottie pippen still has a lot of value to most teams in the nba. his experience alone could be invaluable for all teams.history shows all teams that win the championship have a veteran and experienced player.. he probably wont be the player he once was but could still contribute in stretches; and he was always one of the better conditioned athletes in the league so i really think he's gonna be a great pick-up for a contender

next to magic scottie is my favorite player. doubt the bulls dynasty would have existed without pip in the lineup.. (remember jordan never won a ring without scottie).

Given that aren't too many 41 year old players in the league, and at the 3 spot. I can't see him putting the hammer D on Lebron or Dirk or Melo or Matrix like he used to do.

Honestly I love him ... but it would tarnish his legend. I only want to see it if he does well

Dennis Rodman have been given his nickname(The trojan horse) from his mom simply by fact he used to wiggle around on a similar time as he performed pinball. Oscar Robertson is the only NBA participant to prevalent a triple-double for a whole season. Kareem Abdul-Jabaar found out Jeet-Kun-Do from Bruce Lee. Tim Duncan suffers from galeophobia(the phobia of sharks). Eduardo Najera is the only Mexican enjoying in the NBA(he's from Chihuahua). Tim Duncan is nicknamed "Merlin" via his crew pals simply by fact he loves enjoying Dungeons and Dragons.

Look... think about this: How many people retire and want to go back to work. These pro athletes retire young (age 40ish) and they probably miss it on top of being bored! At first I thought, if he comes back it will ruin his legacy, but then I realize, his legacy is for us, not for him. If he wants to come back, I think he should. Its up to him, not the fans and hes doing it for himself, not the fans. Hes human too, he probably misses the best thing that ever happened to him. So I say support him. When you say "should he just stay retired", its not up to us. Its up to him

He had his chance to be picked up by the Lakers LAST year, but he chose to stay with wifey and raise the kid. Scottie should play golf. They play when they are old.

The party is over for Scottie. Not at 41yrs old, what contender would he help get over the "hump"? He is not MJ. His game was garbage at the end of his career anyway.

depending on how he does and what shape he is in he can help teams but he should stay retired. he should leave his legacy for the way it is instead of coming back and being remembered for that

Uhhhh NO!
If we are that desperate for basketball talent let's get Patrick Ewing or Dominique Wilkins to play also.
