in general (i dont mean family) the people we like/love dont like us back and the people that like/love us we dont love back?

Very good question it which I have asked myself on numerous occasions! I don't have an answer to that except to think of some people that have been attracted to yourself whom you didn't particularly care for. I like to think that sometimes we sense something about that person, ether by their actions...too cloying, needy, manipulative, etc. or something physical like to heavy or too thin, tall etc. A lot of the times I think we give off silent msgs that we are not aware of but the other person picks up on, on an unconscious level. But that is just my thoughts on the subject because I really don't know the answer.

Because you often only need to find one person you love that loves you back, so then you stop looking. Kinda like the old saying "It was in the last place I looked." Well yeah, if you found it you stop looking!

I really don't know. This is a good question, and i've been wondering it for a long time. In a sense of dating relationships, I suppose it's because they aren't our soul mate, and they aren't right for us, patience is key. Theres a somebody for everybody out there, and them not liking us back or us not liking them back, is just a sign that that person isn't it.

Cause we're afraid of looking like retards. We would if we just loved the people who are attracted to us. We have to evolve constantly, or we could'nt live with ourselves.

i know hey.. gues its just one of the mysteries of love - i've since learnt there is no fixed plan to this thing called life... no fixed thing works for everyone at the same time... gues when we busy liking or loving the ones that we chose - we tend not to see the ones who are liking or loving us - so its like one big circle...
