At the moment not too much in the way of herbs. Later on in the year I will be growing Mint, Basil, Fennel, Thyme, Rosemary, Lavender, Chives, Parsley and Coriander. Sounds a lot but once it's planted up in an old half barrel it looks lovely and we use them every day!

In a tub outside is a large rosemary plant which is really hardy and really useful - chuck it in with allsorts. Inside in tubs i have some basil and some parsley. Basil (the growing stuff you buy from supermarkets anyway) never seems to last that long. I think will try and buy seeds. Parsley has gone mad and spread all over, (overtaking and killing the thyme that it was sharing a pot with!) I love having fresh herbs - they smell fantastic and make a great addition to otherwise boring meals!!

At the moment i am just growing mint, i hope to grow more herbs in the summer. Herbs taste so much better when they are fresh.

Hello,
Herbs are a favorite. Love to have fresh herbs to cook with daily. I have oregano, basil, rosemary, chives, parsley& dill.

Good luck with growing herbs

Rosemary, basil, oregano, sage.

Very rewarding. I planted the seeds and they've been sprouting non-stop even though I'm gone for long-periods of time travelling for work.

I'd buy a fully grown plant if you can to start off. It will get you into the habit of using herbs in your cooking.

Next month I'll plant some lavender, basil, and sage. Right now I have a huge rose scented geranium plant (technically an herb) which smells divine whenever I walk by it.

A Bay tree, rosemary, sage, margoram, thyme (3 varieties), mint, pineapple mint, purple sage, chives, I also have marigolds and nasturnams (both very good on salads), also feverview (excellent for migraine) and honey nettles. I will also have parsly , coriander and basil when I get round to planting them.

They make great beauty treatments, health products and tasty food.
