On National Geographic they did a documentary on multiple births. One of the the things that was said is scientist think left handed people had a twin that either disappeared or died and was absorbed into the uterus. Do you think this was possible?

Yeah, in fact I have watched in other documentary that 8/10 persons had a twin who die in the first days of the pregnancy.

I've heard this theory before also. My mother is left handed. She was a triplet though the other two died at birth. I am also left handed and while we have no knowledge of there being a twin, it certainly seems possible based on family history.

Anything is possible. I get a little annoyed when I have to sign something and people say,"Ahhh, a lefty, a southpaw, you're using the wrong hand etc. etc.

I think its strange that there is such a thing as left handed or right handed. Why can't we just use both hands equally. Kind of weird if you think about it. What's that all about? Why were we made this way?
