There is no "good age" to have sex. It all depends on the person. You should be mature enough to take responsibility for your actions and take appropriate safety measures.

You should not let age determine when you should have sex. You may be ready if you are in a loving, committed relationship (not a teen romance that's been going on a few months). If you choose to have sex make sure you use protection to avoid sexually transmitted diseases and unwanted pregnancies. Just make sure you are sure this is what you want and that you're not doing it to keep a boyfriend or make someone love you. I think if you have to ask what age is good to have sex, then you are not ready. Also, your first time should be about making love and not just having sex.

No age is good until you are married. I know it is old fashioned but waiting will save you a lot of confusion and heartache down the road.

When you are responsible enough to actually use protection.

And if anything happens, an accident, lets say you are responsible enough to handle it and not let it "slide through the cracks."
