How can I tell my Boss that I really don't like my new job he assigned to me?

I joined the company for Quality Systems Engr but he assigned to customer Quality Engr

Is there a difference in pay? Is it really a big issue for you? My first thought was, "lucky stiff has a job and he complains about the department!?"

How long have you been working there? Perhaps as the boss, he is putting you where you are most needed at the moment. Perhaps he wants you to learn more about the company. Maybe he was short staffed there. As manager, it is his right to place you where he feels you will do the company most good.

Of course you must approach him with tact. Ask him if you can have a moment to speak with him privately.

Begin on a positive note.. "I am really enjoying working here at XXXXX and am enjoying the challenge of... blah blah as a qlty engineer. I have learned a lot since you assigned me to that position."

Let that sink in for a moment as you take a deep breath and slow your heartbeat...lol.

Then, "However, as much as I enjoy working in QE, my specialty is QSE which is what I was originally hired to do. What are the chances of.....?"

You will have to base your response on what he says.

just tell him u dont really like that possision and if it is possible to switch. be nice to him
