In criminal law, it is better to let even 1,000 guilty men to be free rather than convicting one innocent man. Thus, evidence that is needed to convict a suspect must be beyond reasonable doubt.

Yes, esp. if you happen to be the innocent person! I don't think that would ever happen in reality though. I've met many state attorneys (having worked at the Public Defender's office) and they all had conviction rates of almost 100%. If they don't, they probably aren't very good at their job!!!
I think most juries tend to side with the prosecution and the police officers (agreeing with their version of events). Plus the prosecutor gets to pick and choose which clients go to trial, what the charges are, etc. so they should be going to trial on cases they feel they will be successful, and not cases in which they will lose of course.

Thinking of my son, and how he has to grow up in this world. If I was the innocent man (woman), I would rather be convicted of something then to have 100 guilty men (especially if they are rapists or murderers) walking around this earth and putting my son or anyone elses children in danger. And so... Thats how I think of it lol.

It depends on what the 100 are guilty of and what the innocent man's sentence will be. I would rather keep 100 Jeffrey Dahmers locked-up and get wrongly cited for a speeding ticket.

sure, yet extra useful nevertheless to confirm a minimum of 8 of those 10 convicted, and the innocuous guy bypass loose as well. Sorry, yet I have few illusions about both the CPS or the known of the defence as paid for by criminal help. the completed gadget, including the appeals procedure, desires to be revisited.
