Hobbies are great and this is not what I'm talking about. My other half spends a lot of his time (free time) at the volunteer fire dept. he belongs to. Granted there is work there that needs to be done, but it doesnt all have to be done by him. I called him ealier and he was there watching tv. We have a perfectly good tv at home. I guess my main gripe is there are things at the house that could be done and he hasnt done them-cause he has been there. This dept. is about 5 miles from our house so its not like its just down the street. And before anyone ask no he is not fooling around with some one. I just dont see what the atraction is to be there that much.

We do not have children. I work full time night shift. I have one child that is still at home with us, but old enough to be out on their own-24. When I am off work-he is home most of the time-if something doesnt need to be done at the fire dept. I just get tired of him always there and I have brought it up to him. That does not good at all cause he doesnt see it that he is there that much. Phase? He has been on this dept going on 14 yrs

For some reason he does not want to be home. I have no idea why but maybe you do. I suggest you have a talk with him and find out why he feels the need to be away from home so much? Do you have children? Maybe it is the stress level in the home. Maybe he is more comfortable at the fire house. Are you sure he is really at the fire house? Who else is at the fire house when he is there? Is it all men? We have some females in our fire house. Just talk to him and find out what the problem is. It sounds to me like your marriage might be in a little trouble. I would start making the home a better and more exciting place to be. Maybe you need to brush up on your sex appeal. Give him something to want to stay home for. Doll yourself up and buy a new sexy nightie and have a long romantic night at home.

Just find a hobbie that will take you out of the house and invite him and if he says not go attend that event or hobbie and come back with a ticket to prove that you did go there, next time you invite him he will go with you
