Well i am now the proud mum of 13 baby guppies! Wow got home from work and there they were... Ok so i have put mum's into community tank which has 3 boys. One of the girls is still preg i suspect but i dont have another tank to put girls into whislt the babies are growing. The girls are getting harrassed by the boys??
What do i feed the new born babies?? Thankyou to everyone who told me to be patient while waiting for the girls to give birth.

At first feed the babies either boiled egg yolk(in very small amounts) or commericial fry food. After about a week, you can feed them crushed flake food.
I would add java moss for the baby fish to hide in, it's a water plant that's sort of like moss, in a way, and the fry can hide in it until they're big enough(some of them will get eaten when they swim out to ear though). You can also use some fine-leaved plants bunched together.
The males will keep on bothering the females, it's normal.

The girls will ALWAYS be getting harrassed by the boys - they're BOYS! Feed the babies finely crushed fish flakes.

Put flake fish food inside a plastic bag, and crush it into a fine powder to feed to the baby guppies and congrads on the babies!

Cool. But dont get too excited becoz guppies will breed eve in a jar. But for the fry you can try feeding them on frozen boiled egg yolk.

congratulations, whens the party, whoopee, ,, whatever you feed now will be fine, but also consider having an area in your tank where they can hide so they don't get eaten, maybe some drift wood tied together then the babes can get in but not the bigger fish, guppies are great fun,
