no of sides=360^/8= 90/2= 45sides.

The interior angle is 180° - the exterior angle. The radius to the vertex bisects this angle giving you isosceles triangles with base angles of 1/2 the interior angle. The central angle is 180° - 2(interior angle/2) = 180° - interior angle = exterior angle. The sum of the central angles is 360°.
360°/8° = 45 sides
