They have 3 children together, she dropped out of high school while pregnant with the first one. He sometimes hits her, they do nothing but fight, and if it weren't for the kids she'd just leave and work it out from there. But she can't get a job because day care would be more than anywhere would pay her, and she has no family to help her. She can't get state aid, because she owes them too much money, but he's abusive to her, and emotionally and verbally abusive to their children. How can I help her out of this situation, without having any money of my own and living at home with my own daughter?

Maybe she can sue him...I don't know, honestly. But I found some sites that might help.

Tell her to finish school while at home. Make herself marketable by getting skills. When she leaves him, she will get child support and that should help her start taking of her own life. Don't dream of quick money, she appears nothing to show for so start from the bottom. If she does it right she'll make it just like anyone else.

Try not to move together, you might end up her designated babysitter.

I'm a male, but I can't seem to make children. I am physically disabled, too, but I am independent. I've always loved children and wished to have one of my own... I don't mind picking up a girl with kids; as long as she shows me respect and love me for who I am I'll take her and her children...

But back to you, though, you can try find her a guy who will sacrifice for her sake, someone like me.

I hope she'll be ok.

Your friend is a marvellous example for why idiots should be prevented from breeding.
Tell her to explore local charities / churches, etc. They will be able to help her.
