Is there a law in Arkansas that stats an employer must give an employee a day off after so many consecutive days worked?

I don't need to be retrained. I work at a gas station. How hard can it be? I've been here for 10 months.

I don't know about days off but be sure you're getting overtime for any hours over 40. I don't know if there is a maximum but there should be. In Texas we have the Texas Workforce Commission and they can help Texans with state laws. You surely have something along those lines in your state. If not, call anystate office and be prepared to get passed around until you get to the right office. (And then get their number because you will get disconnected). I do have to say the State Comptroller's Office and TWC offices in Texas are very helpful and very polite.

No days off because if they give anyone a day off in Arkansas they have to retrain them.

If you got skills. Then you answered your own question. Why should I? But make sure you got Plan B locked down.
