Dean Koontz 'Velocity' honestly the best book I've read in a while. He keeps you interested from cover to cover. It's a bit of a horror story which is exactly what Dean is all about. This was my first time reading his work and I will be buying more of it.

The one I'm reading right now is fantastic. It is Pop Goes The Weasel by James Patterson. It is one of the Alex Cross novels, the one where his fiance is kidnapped by a mass murderer.
