I probably would prefer a really good book, but it also depends whats on T.V. usually I do both at the same time (read during the commercials) What about you?

The only show I've really found interesting lately is Heroes. I like it because it's good storytelling and just all around well done. It tingles the imagination.

Much more than TV, though, I DO most enjoy a really good book!! It reaches into dimensions where tv cannot and provides a much more rich and vivid experience. TV is so shallow while reading is so soulful. Books ROCK!

I prefer some really good books to those uninspiring TV programs excluding news reports. I don't read during the commercials, rather I'd read a few books in rotation till I feel I need a break so I'd watch TV instead.

Absolutely books. I watch perhaps two or three TV programmes a week, mainly films.
(I get my news from the internet, and there are generally better informative programmes on the radio.
BBC Radio 4 in particular)

There is so much more in a good book than a fleeting TV programme.

For me, it all depends on the mood. If I'm feeling real lazy or tired, then it's T.V. for me. But once I get into a good book, I wouldn't wanna put it down.

A really good book, because I can connect more to the characters in books. Whereas with TV I find it more mind numbing.

TV is all about visuals, which have an instant appeal but are also ephemeral. For a lasting impression, nothing like a good book.

I love to read AND I love to watch TV so it really depends upon what's on TV.
