Hi,

It depends on the country and the context.

I'm ready means that you are "prepared" to do something, either because you are willing to do it

eg: "Nobody wants to walk the dog."
"Well, I'm ready to do it if nobody else will"

or because you are poised and equipped

eg: "OK, I'm going to start now. Are you ready?"
"Yeah, I'm ready"

I am finished can either mean that you have concluded something or doing something (although grammatically speaking it should be "I have finished")

eg: "We'll go when I'm finished with the washing up"

or it can mean very tired.

eg. "Jeeeee........that was a tough game. I'm finished!"
