People especially the youths engage in premarital sexual relation because :
1)their morale are bad and their faith or religon understanding are weak
2)religion education from their parents in each family is very low or maybe nothing at all
3)their lusts are not managed well caused by satans'temptation
4)they do not know that adultery or fornification is not allowed by God as stated in the holy book
5)they are not aware that having sex before marriage will have great sins
6) they based their premarital sex only on freewill of both sexes
without force,so there is no sin.

It probably has a lot to do with culture. A person brought up in a culture with a more liberal view of sex especially the issue with premarital sex is more likely to engage in it. Cultural norms often define the guidelines to living especially amongst the impressionable youth. We are, to a certain extent, a product of the environment we grew up in.
Another factor would be religion. Christianity, for example, encourages one to abstain from sex before marriage. However, in most societies today, religion is less of a defining factor anymore, unless one considers more conservative cultures like in India or Malaysia where I'm from. Even in Malaysia, religion doesn't figure as much as it use to due to the increasing globalisation and media. Attitudes towards sex are changing fast and in even in conservative cultures, most youth have more liberal views.
In the end, it depends on the individual. It is the individual that sets the rules and guidelines of his or her own lifestyle.

Sex is a basic human necessity, just like food and affection. Marriage is something that is best when not entered into at the age of 18 (statistically, if people get married after the age of 24 they're less likely to divorce). Therefore, people have sex before they are married.

because these days moral values r nt that strong n becoz todays world is filled wth so many things that tempt or put other ideologies in youths mind like the media, tv, radio, movies, internet etc. must say we youth of today dnt live under the same environmet that our parents did n it is a struggle to keep urself for marriage bt worthwhile i think. another issue i think is that today people r lookin at carrier first so will get married n havn kids later on like in late 20s yet those days our parents married at 22 as d oldest age. this will mek the people tho nt married engage in sexual activities.

Mostly 'cause it feels good, but kids just think it's kewl to be getting it on, without realizing the repercussions if they're not careful and responsible. They know no better, because they're not taught or spoken to about the subject of sex. They find out on their own and sometimes a bit too late.

The Devil fools people just like he fooled Eve in the garden of Eden. He makes them think that if they do it the other person will love them 4-ever. And there are other things he uses to get them to sin. People r just to stupid 2 c. Even my self @ 1 time.

well i don't agree with 12 year olds running around having sex but like I always say you don't buy a car unless you've taken it for a test drive. PLus...marriage is just a piece of paper why do you need that to show you love someone.

Because sex feels good.
Because sex is a way to share something special with someone you care about.
A better question is why do people care so much about virginity. It's a rather silly value, don't you think.

People who have no moral background, and who frankly believe in nothing, find no reason to restrain themselves morally. It's only us who believe in things like strong morals, God, etc, who find benefit in restraint.
Also, like the person above me said, they're hardly taught anything - they just have to figure out themselves, so with the media/world/people saying "do it! Do it!" and nobody saying "Don't," guess what happens...
