Since a few years ago, I've vowed that my birthday celebrations would get bigger and bigger until I hit 30 which would culiminate into a trip to Europe or something with my closest friends. Last year, for my 28th, I had a huge party with a midget stripper. How do I top that this year, minus the stripper? Any original party or celebration ideas? One of my friends suggested a cruise...feedback?

When is this birthday? If it's next week, then the cruise would be hard to pull off. I think the cruise is akin to the Europe trip for your 30th birthday. Have you gone skydiving yet? That's an under-30 kind of thing to do!

It means you are 29 and you will turn 30 on the 29th of the month next year.

Rent a very luxurious suite in Las Vegas for a weekend and have that be the pre-30th birthday sneak peak before your extravegant trip for your 30th birthday.

Since you are almost 30 now and it's time to grow up better, how about doing something for those homeless and poor people out there in your society?
If you already done it before... then do something special for yourself such as hire a male stripper? Lol.
