Pregnancy is a concern, but even more so are STDs. Since you've been having unprotected sex, the chances (statistically) are that you are infected with a type of STD. The scary thing is that even if you partner says he is clean, there is never a way to know 100%. There are very common STDs that are not tested for in men, so even if he got STD testing, it is impossible for him to have been tested for all STDs. Another scary thing is that HPV, which leads to cervical cancer, infects 80% of all women. Chances are, you now have it too, or if you don't, you will eventually get it from unprotected sex. You can only prevent STDs with condoms, not birth control.
The brown discharge is basically spotting from your period. It usually happens before or after a period. It happens to all women at some point.

I would call your doctor, or even speak to a pharmacist about the discharge. It may be nothing, but then again, you're better off finding out. It takes a while for the pill to become effective, so you should be ( or should have been) using some other form of protection, until you know that you're safely covered.
I found a site that lists different types of discharges, so I hope it helps......
Different Types of Discharge
White: Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.
Clear and stretchy: This is "fertile" mucous and means you are ovulating.
Clear and watery: This occurs at different times of your cycle and can be particularly heavy after exercising.
Yellow or Green: May indicate an infection, especially if thick or clumpy like cottage cheese or has a foul odor.
Brown: May happen right after periods, and is just "cleaning out" your vagina. Old blood looks brown.
Spotting Blood/Brown Discharge: This may occur when you are ovulating/mid-cycle. Sometimes early in pregnancy you may have spotting or a brownish discharge at the time your period would normally come. If you have spotting at the time of your normal period rather than your usual amount of flow, and you have had sex without using birth control, you should check a pregnancy test.
I hope everything is okay.....

Sounds like dried blood. This can happen after intercourse or while you're body is getting adjusted to the pill. Your periods may be quite different after you're on the pill.
Were you on the pill long enough to have unprotected sex a month ago? It does take a while for the pill to begin to protect you. Also, the low-hormone birth control pills do sometimes allow pregnancy to happen.
I would definitely mention this to your doctor. Call the office and ask to speak with his nurse. She can probably answer all your questions.

OK I'm going to try not to preach to you that you are to young to be having sex but oh crap i just did. If you are going to be having sex USE a condom! any who, its probably the start of your period, or it could be start of pregnancy. If you didn't allow enough time to let your body adjust to the pill after you started it, it wouldn't have been as effective. They say to wait at LEAST 30-50 days before you have unprotected sex when your on the pill. Obviously if you don't know these kind of things about the pill and sex, maybe your to young to be having sex, especially unprotected sex. Are you Ready to be a MOM!

You have to go to a doctor and tell your parents what you are doing.
