I found this answer at the first website listed.
Not my words, but words for the website.
I had it confirmed by a number of eyewitnesses that camels can indeed swim.
At least the Dromedaries (Camelus dromedarius) can, and we can probably assume that the Bactrians (Camelus bactrianus)can, too. (One bump in a D two bumps in a B, that's how I always remember that).
How did I find so many eyewitnesses, you ask? It turns out camel racing is a huge sport in some Arab countries and - get this - in Australia.

i got here upon this answer on the 1st internet site indexed. not my words, yet words for the internet internet site. I had it shown via various eyewitnesses that camels can certainly swim. a minimum of the Dromedaries (Camelus dromedarius) can, and we are in a position to probable assume that the Bactrians (Camelus bactrianus)can, too. (One bump in a D 2 bumps in a B, it quite is how I continuously keep in mind that). How did i come across such somewhat some eyewitnesses, you ask? It seems camel racing is a huge sport in some Arab international places and - get this - in Australia.

Probably, but they can certainly float!
That's why a camel is often referred to as 'The ship of the desert'

Wouldn't they float? I mean, with all that stuff in their humps, it seems like they would just float right up to the top anyway.
