I recently separated from my husband because he felt I spent too much time with my Kitty (she's so cute). Since then I've met a fellow from India when I called the 1-800 number for tech help on AOL service. He seems very nice and speaks English very well. He also like Cat's which is a big-plus with me! We've had a couple of conversations now and when he's not fixing my AOL connection, seems like such a sincere and loving person. He loves animals also and has a pet Mongoose. If he was to come to the States for an extended period..would the Mongoose have to be quarantened? What are the rules regarding exotic animals entering the US? I think I really like this guy!

Yes, the mongoose would have to be quarantined and checked by his vet. He would also need to get a permit to keep it as a pet. Call your local vet and see where you can get all the information on how long the quarantine last and any licenses you and he would need. GOOD LUCK to you.
