i went to the school dance and my best friend try to get us together he put us in a corner alone and left i couldent talk i told her she was the most beautiful person on earth and i love her but then i froze i asked her to slow dance and she said yes cause i was cute but then when the last song came on she was dancing with some one else i asked her out she said she would think about it and the next day i found out she hooked up with one of my friends now he dumped her and i want to know if i should still go after her

in no way would you expect this girl to respond to your moves in a day or so. she danced with you not because you iniciated it but your friend did a love-match. The lady is aware that you did not take initiative to introduce yourself or talk to her but somebody is acting behind the scene. The best you can do is to prove to her that you can do it without your friend who can push you to her. Initiate calls, make a date out, prove to her that you are alone in this. don't mind if she goes out with your friend she may just be doing it to make you jeolous, Go after her only if you love her and prove to her that no one is pushing you to her. good luck

You're still young obviously, girls you will find to be fickle(change their minds often and frequently). If you really like her, get to know her better. That will help you decide if she really is the most beautiful girl ever. Believe me, a lot of the pretty girls don't look so hot anymore now that I know more about them. And don't worry about freezing up, anytime you're "put" in a corner with a girl you don't know, there is bound to be awkwardness.
