Hi, Pooja.
I think you are getting too much worried.

There are two things that might happen:

CASE:1: He might be really good character and might help you in getting a job. Then nothing to worry.

CASE:2: He might be a cunning person (this is what you are worried about ), think this way your resume is available in job sites - any recruiter can view your resume. What will you do if some other person whom you don't know misuses it. It is not only that this guy will do .. anybody can do it. In that case, we have so many laws to protect you.

- If you receive any unwanted mails then put it spam, still you receive then change your mail id .. as simple as that.
- If you receive any unwanted phone calls then warn him once, if he keeps on continuing just file a police complain, they will take care about the rest. Not even your name will be leaked. Don't worry. Why you can even change your mobile number.
- No body will have guts to use the house address.

Just hope for the postitve things! I don't think it will too serious as what you think. In case if it is then you with the help of your parents / husband can easily overcome it.

Fraud usually doesn't start until there is a Social Security number involved.

Take a deep breath, and check in with the credit agencies in the morning. There may be a way for you to get your credit report twice a year if there is a possibility of fraud. No sense in not being diligent.

Talk to your neighbors, have them keep an eye out for anything suspicious - just in case. I don't think axe murderers get random resumes from the Internet, or else everyone on CraigsList is in trouble.

It's quite possible that the person you sent it to had the best intentions too.

In the future, remind your Friends to think twice when on the Internet, because you'll never repeat this mistake again.

calm down chances are they arent gonna do anything most likely the worst thing they can do is post your resume perhaps on this site or another one so what can you do? keep an eye out for your resume if you see it posted anywhere report them to the owners of the site but if you see it posted somewhere if it has any information that may be used to get any access to your financial anything then i suggest talking to your bank about options that can be taken against identity theft if you have any children then you might be in trouble but i doubt that very much as long as you are old enough to defend yourself and some perv aint gonna come after you you are fine if you do have children well idk what you can do about it but i suggest talking to someone who knows what you can do like a cop or something
