Spice up the questions;?

Question

What spice can I add to white rice for a great flavour? These are the ingredients so far:

White Rice
Crushed tomatoes
Tortellini with beef

How about cooking the rice in beef broth instead of plain old water? It does depend on your menu, but I usually do that and it is well liked. I don't use canned broth's though. I usually use real restaurant style soup base, not bullion like most people. Or you could add tomato juice and water or with the beef broth. And maybe some diced green peppers and onions.

Since you have an acidic base- the tomatoes- I would spice it up like a chili- with hot sauce, chili powder and black pepper--any spice you would put in chili I would use in your recipe above

safran!! (aka azafran en espanol) trust me its the spice, which although is quite expensive, of which only alittle can give huge flavor and zing to rice, its the kind that makes them yellowish and gives them that awesome smell

tortellini and white rice??????? that sounds strange!! my grandma has always made "special rice," since i was little...all you add is butter, grated parmesan, parsley, and some salt and pepper to taste. soo yummy!

WHITE PEPPER... yuummmmyyyy i never prepare anything without white pepper - shooot if i could put it in my coffee i would.. tee hehehehe..
