When your man comes home, do you let him be the first one to speak, believing that what he has to say is more important than what is on your mind at the time? If so, does this bring you immense satisfaction knowing that you have dutifully served your husband by honoring him as first in the household?

He prefers that I have a sandwhich and cold beer set out for him and the TV set to his channel at 10 volume. He sits in his chair and I commence to remove his boots and give him a footrub, afterwhich a shoulder rub. When the news comes on he then send me to my room in which I prepare to give myself to him as my nightly duty. I serve him well and get rewards for doing so.

So I read your question, and after I was done rolling around laughing loud enough to scare the cats and wake the kids, I took a deep breath, wiped my eyes and have an answer of sorts for you.

Unless it is an emergency, nothing he has to say is more important than what is on my mind. I serve my husband the same way he serves me, by being a loving and respectful companion not a doormat.

Perhaps your a Dominant male. If you exist in a D/s relationship then I'm sure that works for you. However, I prefer to greet him with open arms and I listen to him because I sincerely care about his day and how he's feeling in the moment. He's so sweet that he gives me the same in return. We honor and respect each other equally. I'm lucky to have him and I can feel his love for me.

Normal people *or people that are obviously closer to normal than you are* speak when they have something to say. If by chance they talk at the same time then one waits and listens while the other one speaks and vice versa.
