Preparation H, standing for hydrocortisone, is typically used, well, for swelling. The hydrocortisone is a steriod and in this case is supplied as a 1% concentration. If used around the eyes, as can be done; it can apparently reduce some of the puffyness. Another version of Prep H has phenylepherine, another medication that reduces swelling, typically found in over the counter sinus medications. And yet another version is with their wipes that have Witch Hazel.
In any case, I don't think an anti-inflammation medication would do much for wrinkles, other than constrict the skin to some extent and actually make the wrinkles more visible, potentially.
Wrinkles are basically creases in the skin and there isn't a great deal you can do for them. There are various creams that claim that they can help to fill the voids, giving, as they say on tv, the "appearance" of less wrinkles. I would imagine some work better than others. You can also do skin resurfacing as in a laser peel, which can definitely make the skin look rejuvenated but can be pricy.
Anyway, I hope this helps.

I worked with a lady years ago that swore by preperation H for wrinkles. I was always wondering how she would know cuz she didnt even have any wrinkles yet. Well come to find out she was almost 50 and I would not have guessed her over 30. She just used it like a facial mask put it on let it set 5 to 10 minutes and rinse thouroughly. Only problem she ever had was not labeling one tube face and one rear.

I've never heard of it being used for that purpose. I suppose you could try it, although Preparation H shrinks tissues (think about what it's really used for!) whereas fine lines and wrinkles usually need to be plumped up. If you want to try and experiment, put a thick layer on for about 15 minutes, then wipe off gently. Do not get it too close to the eyes.

Not sure of that. If you do not drink enough water, it can cause dehydration of the skin, causing loss of elasticity and wrinkle formation. Drink at least 8 glasses of water, more if you exercise a lot or the weather is hot. Plenty of fresh fruits and vegetable will provide nutrients to the skin and prevent wrinkles.More cheap and natural remedies for wrinkles at the link below.

It doesn't help wrinkles, it helps puffiness around your eyes; the rationale being that it shrinks swollen tissues.
I've never seen it work first hand for myself, but you simply swipe some underneath your eyes to use it.
