There is a dance at school and i would like to go, but I have heard that blacklights make some clothes see-through and i don't want to make a fool of myself!

hmm, i never heard that it makes some clothes SEE-THROUGH. But the obvious colors that might be see-through would be white, and some light yellows.

It looks like a promenade costume no longer a black tie affair costume. generally black tie non-compulsory is a suited wedding ceremony and traditionally women human beings could be in long outfits. that's lots extra of a promenade costume and that i don't experience it incredibly is appropriate, incredibly in case you would be in photos. i might ask the bride. For me, i might tell my attendants no to this costume and my affair isn't black tie, yet i does no longer enable them to positioned on that wanting a costume. additionally, while you're over 19...this costume does no longer be age suitable the two.

I come from the "black light era". White is definitely see through. Also, don't wear a dark color top with a white bra under it because the white bra will show up right through your top.

i think white looks really nice in black light cause it turns blueish and you'll stand out, not in a bad way.
don't wear black because whats the point.. its a "black light" party... no colors would reflect off of it.

i think you should stick to dark colors. just to be safe.

you might want to ask the people in charge of the dance for their suggestions too

Forget what everybody else says, whatever you wear make sure its clean cause if not every stain will be magnified by 1000.

blues, mid yellows, greens, REDS and black if you want to be safe.
