Rajneesh Chandra Mohan Jain (December 11, 1931 – January 19, 1990), better known during the 1970s and 1980s as Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh and later taking the name Osho, was an Indian spiritual teacher. He lived in India and in other countries including, for a period, the United States, and inspired the Osho movement, a controversial spiritual and philosophical movement.

What would you like to know about him?
The best is that you read any of his 700 books and then you can find out for yourself.
Certainly he is a controversial person as was every creative and individualistic person who brought a new and different vision to human life.
For me he has given the clearest message to humanity on how to unite spirtual and material life.
Love plus Meditation is his message. He called himself Zorba the Buddha, someone who can enjoy the luxury of the material world and the greater luxury of the spiritual world of meditation.
There is no need to renounce the world and become a monk to be religious; and there is no sin in having a nice house or car.

It is best to ignore people's opinion of him and find out for yourself, read one of his books - Meditation: First & Last Freedom is a good start, and try some of his meditation techniques.
There are numerous centers around the world where you can be introduced to his methods of meditation.
