I have accidentally spilled cooking oil on my shirts. Even after immediately washing with detergent oil marks are still visible.
How can i remove them?

Try applying vinegar or lemon juice at the area where the oil marks is. (It works on me). After app ling it,wait for a few minutes then rinse with detergent. Good luck!

This is coming from a mechanic who has been greased daily for 36 year. Whether the stain is on reg fabric or delicate, soak the area with shampoo and let set for an hour. Wash as normal and the stain is gone. This one I found by accident and it has worked for me many times afterwards, cheeze-whiz. Smear it on the stain, and throw it in the washer. That stuff will take off any stain. ( what the heck is in it?)

Buy a new shirt. I've worked food service on and off for years and if it doesn't come out with the first wash, it probably wont. But don't dry the shirt in the dryer until you are for sure the stain is out. Heat will set it.

First apply baby powder on the oil spot and spread with your fingers.
second put a white clean cotton cloth on the powdered spot
third get an iron and iron on the cloth then remove the cloth spread away the powder with you hand and apply again.

Do this procedure until the spot is gone.

You can try rubbing liquid detergent into the stain with your fingers as well. Apply water (rinse) after you are done.
