Also when my boyfriend cums inside me it tends to smell the next day or so. Why is this? Is there something in the sperm or something like that? Is there anything he can eat or take to make it not smell?

Ejaculate smells. Fresh or old. It's going to smell. Usually like old fish. Blech! You can eat more yogurt to keep your personal PH at the right level. That may help.I do not know you and so I am assuming that you shower daily. If you do not shower daily, you should shower after sex at the very least.

More importantly, I think if you do not know the answers to your questions your boyfriend should be using a condom. You know what your doing, right tab A goes in to slot B a bunch of times, it feels good and that's, that. But there's so much more to it all.

First, you need to know how your body works and you need to know how his body works too. If you don't have these simple answers now, then you aren't ready to have a baby and all that goes with it and that just might happen to you some day. Personally, I don't trust IUDs. NO birth control is 100%. IUDs are pretty low on the percentages of effectivness of birth control methods. So, first, don't fool yourself into thinking that there is a 100% baby proof method. There isn't, um short of sitting close and thinking about sex. But hey, this is reality! People have sex, it's a fact. So you may want him to wear a condom for the most part of the month to be doubly sure that you aren't going to get pregnant until you want to. That means knowing your cycle and when your body is furtle.

Second, Sex is stinky. You have many and various bodily fluids coming together from two people. You have heat, sweat and hormones and body scents. It all stinks but we still like it. Just think back to the days when there wasn't any deoderant and people didn't wash as often and they still had sex. Yuck!!

Third, follow your instincts and arm yourself with knowledge. What is it that makes you so concerned about the odor? Try to find out what is causing it. When was the last time you were checked for STDs? When was the last time he was checked? Could it be that he is not as healthy as he's made you think? Could that be what makes a bad enough smell for you to worry about?

Also, there are many reports that douching is not a good idea and that it may actually increase the occurrences of certain cancers. You may want to do some research on this.

You should schedule an appointment with a gynecologist to get your body checked out and to ask questions. You should be able to ask you gynecologist anything and if you cannot, then you have the wrong doctor and you should find one who will listen and answer your questions. Trust me, there isn't much that they haven't heard.

I hope that you know that once you become sexually active you should have a PAP and a cervical exam every year.

Once you decide to become sexually active it is your responsibility to know everything you possibly can. Ask your doctor, go to web MD, check out medical books at your local library.

Arm yourself with knowledge.

Good luck to you! :)

Semen just has a smell after a bit, ever get close to a naked guy and think "ICK! Ever heard of a shower buddy?!" Its normal. You pretty much just have to wash it. Right after, push it out (use a towel or sit on the toilet) then wipe with a warm wet cloth, then dry. This will help keep the smell down until you can shower. You can keep said towel and facecloth next to the bed so you don't have to run off to the bathroom right away. As for him, a good diet with plenty of fruits and veggies and GOOD person hygiene will help a bit. Tell him not to use to much soap, but lots of hot water and rinse WELL! Soap left on there will burn like a son of a' ....
