You could very well have more than two weeks until your child is ready to enter this world, or your body might decide any day to start the laboring process. This is the time to be patient (as hard as that is to hear!)!! Every woman is different and you might not have any bloody show or mucus plug until you are well into the laboring process. As far as the painful you are experiencing. It sounds like your baby is pressing up against a nerve and causing you pain. Not surprising at this point in the game. If you are uncertain about the pain, call your doctor! They know much more than anybody on here!! Good luck and congrats soon!!

You've still got time, lol. The end of your pregnancy can feel like it's lasting forever! I had no braxton-hicks with my first pregnancy, either... I didn't even know my mucus plug had fallen out when my water broke! It'll happen when it happens. Good luck!

You baby isn't ready to come out, and don't force her, she just is taking longer to mature for birth. I know a lot of women who are pushing 40 weeks and they haven't had anything. Your doctor will contact you if he is getting worried since you should be going in what every week or every two weeks. Your fine, she is just comfy:D

There are many other mothers & mothers-to-be asking the exact same thing. Both my pregnancies were 41W+. I had to be induced with both of them. On both occassions I never had any pre-labour symptoms. I know just how frustrated you are. Good luck.

I dont know dear, but i'm 40 wks and no nothing but a lot of discomfort and feeling crampy. If you're worried, call your doctor, but I would relax. As I understand it only 2% of women deliver on their due dates.

What's going on is that your baby and your body are not yet ready for a birth!
While the changes you describe are common, not having them does not necessarily mean anything, just as *having* them does not necessarily indicate that labor is imminent.
Trust your body and your baby to know when it's time for him/her to make his arrival :-)

How sure are you of your date? Were you charting and tracking ovulation?!?! It's possible that you could have ovulated later than you thought and you might not be as far along as previously thought. Good luck, I hope something starts happening for you soon!
