i am going to be getting a paintball gun and i was just wondering if anybody knew of some good brands/models that are not cheap but not too expensive

I hate to say it but the peopel before me are so wrong. Spyders are, at best, entry level markers. Angels, while high end markers, are not for a first time player, i have been playing for 12 years and I won't touch one. when they do work they are great markers, but you will need to spend alot of time fixing them. auto cockers are the same way. with 93 moving parts you need an airsmith to fix one. bushmasters are ok but it can be hard to find parts for them.
I would go with an ion or a proto rail. Dye matrix is a good one too, and if you have enough money get a 07 Ego.

That depends on your exact price range. For the $200-$400 price range I would recommend the Smart Parts Ion, Lasoya Promaster, Dangerous Power Fusion, Invert Mini, and the Proto Matrix Rail. If higher then I would go with a Smart Parts Shocker, Planet Eclipse Ego, or Proto PM7.
Once you go over about $500 or $600 though, markers all perform about equally and usually differ only in looks.

the best speedball guns is either DYE, ANGEL, or maybe even SMART PARTS. woods ball is most likely TIPPMANN SINCE SOMEBODY SHOT ONWE OUT OF A 4 STORY WINDOW USING A CANNON, ONTO A PARKING LOT AND IT STILL WORKED. BUT MAINLY A-5S AND 98 CUSTOMS. OHH YEAH ALSO IONS ARE GOOD IN SPEEDBALL.
THE ONE PROBLEM WITH ALL THE LISTED SPEEDBALL GUNS IS THAT THEY COST ATLEAST $1000 NO MATTER WHICH. WHILE TIPPMANN IS ABOUT $100-$300. VERY RARE BUT 300 SOMETIMES

i wuld definetly reccomend a jt tac 5 recon or tippman 98c or a5. all of them r rlly sturdy and highly cheep begginer guns, i owned the tac 5 and loved it it replaced into tremendous for my factor on the time yet i know the tippman a5 is way bettr

autcockers are good, so are bushmasters (according to my husband).
my husband has an impluse that he loves (he use to be semi-pro), but hes kinda out of the sport now and is looking to sell it. If you are interested email me :)
