Indians are basically conservatives, and curiosity as we know leads to different trends, thus entices to follow western culture which is very attractive!

What you see as 'western' is very different these days. The West is pretty much a mixuture of every culture. After all the West is multicultural. And I agree, times change and we should change with it.
The so called 'Western tradition' still lives in India in a form which you do not see as western. So I guess traditions were simular at one time. Its where the women takes care of the domestic side of life, caring for husband, bringing up kids, and pretty much having her freedom restricted. Although this might be you want (because you like your freedom), Indian women don't want this anymore, they want to work, get an education, be independent and live a life that includes thinking about themselves once in a while. Whats wrong in that? Only men who find this a threat will be offended (the one who gave me a thubs down LOL)

Indians especially girls follows western culture because girls mind is more fertile than boys .
