Expain the pancake theory and why the floors didn't slow down exponentially as one hit the other.

This is a very good question. I have suggested on many blogs that the collapse be modeled with a computer program to definitely find out the mechanism of the collapse. However, the science on this issue appears to have been repressed by the government.

The current theory is that the fires weakened the structure to the point of spontaneous collapse, and that the collapse propagated downwards. There have been energy calculations that use the assumption that each floor just snapped. However, the acceleration times are not plausible, in my opinion.

It is not only a question of WTC1 and WTC2, but also WTC7, which collapsed later that day, in a very precise and rapid manner. So keep asking and do not give up until you get a sound answer.

Right now, I do not believe that a possible demolition of WTC1 WTC2 or WTC7 has been conclusively refuted. A modeling of the collapse would bring certainty, if and when it is performed. I believe a dynamic modeling of the collapse will prove that demolition charges were involved in all three buildings.

Impact shock from a dropped object are much stronger than the force of gravity pulling on an object at rest.
It's all about acceleration. All the concrete in the floor of a building weighs a lot. Once a couple floors have collapsed, you've got a lot of falling concrete. Each successive floor is exerting the same resistance to the impact, but the impact is growing exponentially as more and more material is added, and gravity keeps accelerating everything the whole while.

As far as floors falling before they're hit goes, I can think of a few possible explanations. Impact shock can carry down solid material faster than gravity. If a vertical beam in the building gets hit hard enough, it may buckle at a lower point, causing more than one floor to collapse ahead of the majority of the weight hitting them.

As far as the "Government blew it all up" theories go, I guess anything's possible, but I wouldn't put too much stock in them without some careful examination, since most of the people spreading the theories are basing them on science they don't understand. Just as I can't say definitively that it wasn't a conspiracy, I don't think any of them can say difinitively that it was.

Same question, so I have to give you the same answer, but this time you have at least one decent answer!

Sorry, I can't explain the pancake theory, because the pancake theory doesn't hold water!!!! Only at free fall speed could those buildings have come down so fast, and only controlled demolition makes that possible!!!

The Floor levels as they fell Began shooting outward toward the streets, send debris as far as 8 blocks away.
