Heres the background. We have been bestfriends for awhile. She told me everything about everything, I am the type of person everyone comes to for advice, and she did just that. I knew her boyfriend of a year, but not very well. At first I didn't even like him because of all the stories she told me about him and the bad stuff he had done. But my bestfriend wanted nothing but the two of us to get along so we would hangout with her when a group got together. We ended up becoming really great friends. he would tell me about his problems with her and id advice him we just had fun times together like friends do. At the same time I am still bestfriends with the girl. He stayed the night multiple times when she did as well if id have parties and what not. well one time should couldnt come and she flipped out that he did, and told my that I had to choose her or him. and I told her I wouldnt choose and now we dont speak becaus she says I wasnt being a true friend. Should I have chose her?

You can hang out with him. But You should have chosen her and later you could have explained to him that you din want to hurt her. BOYZ LISTEN TO GIRLS INSTANTLY ! Common if possible solve it this way

Your friend is just feeling very insecure. All the times she trusted you, telling you the good and the bad about her bf, and now you two end up good friends. You can understand why she is feeling betrayed. Just reverse the situation, and you will understand where she is coming from. I am not saying you should have to pick one or the other, I am just trying to get you to see why she is probably feeling the way she does. I would try hard to talk with her, and explain you have NO interest in her bf, and you still are her best-friend. Now, if you are trying to get with her bf, and she sense's that, you really aren't her Friend, and no one deserves that kind of back stabbing! RIGHT! I hope it all works out!!

It was only a party your friends over reacting and if she's smart she'll realise it and get the F over it. You shouldn't have to choose between 2 friendships you value.
