--It would seem that Mr. Bennett on _Heroes_ does have superiors, as there were a few times during Sylar's *second* stay in that cage where Mr. Bennett himself mentions "our orders are to keep him alive." As to who they might be, tonight's episode did open up at least one possible answer:
That the little "mark" Mr. Bennett and his Haitian aide leave on people with powers is an injection site for a radio-isotope used for tracking purposes. So whoever is in charge here....they may not want the ones with powers dead per se, but they do want to be able to locate them, most likely by satellite, at a moment's notice. Between that and some of the gear they (Mr. Bennett and the Haitian) had for their night mission in tonight's episode....I'd say they have *military* written all over them.
Only real question is, is it *direct* military (linked to one of the branches of the Armed Forces, most likely the Coast Guard since they have the most authority to act on our own soil), or is it *indirect* military (your intelligence community, CIA, NSA and the like)? That and how high does the chain of command go up? Given the way everyone seems to be connected *two or three* different ways to each other on the show, it wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if either Linderman or Nathan Petrelli's election *opponents* weren't somehow connected.
--As for Peter versus Sylar....it sounds cool on paper, but the truth seems to be that Peter is going to be stuck where he is until this "bomb" issue is resolved. And Mohinder (and Sylar) are too busy roaming around the countryside to be bothered (each for his own reasons). So it seems less likely than say, Peter's meeting up with Mr. Nuclear--that radioactive guy.
Besides, on tonight's episode....Sylar rather shot himself in the foot it seems. ^_^ Not that I should take joy in seeing a character die, but....
Ok, at least we have proof now that Sylar's primary power--his hearing how "people tick" and thereby being able to hear whether or not someone is normal or empowered--isn't a delusion. It's his actual primary power.
And he screwed it up, big time. He killed a woman with *extremely* acute hearing. And like a putz, he had to take her power *without thinking* of how it might mess with his own.
So....depending on how this screw-up works out, Sylar could become anything from even *more* unstoppable than usual as he now hears people and can pinpoint them from miles away, or...he might be so messed up now in terms of dealing with all the noise that his primary power might not even work anymore.
Meaning, it might take anything from Peter's going nuclear on him....all the way down to Mohinder's playing the car radio a bit too loudly, to finally stop Gabriel Sylar. That last bit would be cruel irony, huh? Sylar's finally dying because someone--any Joe Shmo really--played a tune *too loudly* and it melted his brain.
Or it might give Sylar a reason to leave Mohinder and to redouble his efforts to get Claire (so he can heal himself from the damage).
Still....if anyone were to do a Deathmatch game between Peter and Sylar (once we found out just *what all* Sylar is capable of, mind you), it would rock majorly, provided that Peter couldn't "just nuke him", or that Sylar couldn't just "insta kill" him telekinetically the way he seems to do with anyone he sees fit.
I hope this helps, and that I haven't spoiled too much. ^_^ Thanks for your time!

Hes working for himself and yes, as they are making it look, Peter seems to be the only one to stop Sylar.

I think he is working for Linderman. He is definitely working for someone because he has spoken to them on the phone.
I think that Peter will be the one to stop sylar too. Although, if they all come together and use their powers?

He's gotta be working for that Linderman guy! I think Micah is going to do Sylar in...I don't know why.
Did you see Stan Lee driving the bus?! How cool was that?

NSA, HLS, NASA, or Military intelligence.
And Claire is the only one that can take down Sylar. If he takes her power, her power takes over him. Her power is there solely to preserve her life, not anyone else's. Think the Matrix.
