I am in my 20s, and married. I work out twice a week and I eat right. I began to gain weight after I started birth-control. My doctor said it could not possibly be due to the birth-control. I need help, any advice?

i have been on the pill for years and i think that it contributes to weight gain but not too much. i have been gaining weight and wanting to lose it for a while. i have been drinking lipton black tea for couple months and i swear, it curbs my appetite, it is good for you and i lost 4 pounds. my activity level is close to zero but i eat in moderation. i would encourage you to exercise and eat in moderation. don't get off the pills though. good luck!

The weight gain caused by birth control is only about 5 pounds and goes away after a few months. I have been on it for years and have always lost weight when I wanted to. I lost over 20 pounds just from walking every day while I was on it. Try a different work out.

You might be right but I think you arent losing weight because you are not working out enough, try doing cardio 3 times per week then strength training 2 times a week.
