What's your picture of a perfect marriage? This is a vague question so, what I am referring to are things like... What would each partner give? How would they interact, solve problems, resolve conflicts? What would your perfect, and I mean perfect partner be like? How would they treat you? Don't try to be realistic, think perfect! Thanks!

Please note... that I am not saying there is such a thing as a perfect marriage, nor am I asking if you think that there is, nor am I asking if you think there are perfect people. I am asking what someone's ideal would be if they sat that there and imagined... just say... what it would be like in a perfect marriage. *see actual question for more details. :)

Communication, understanding, empathy, love, compassion and trust. These examples are all pretty self explanatory.

Although, there is no such thing as a perfect marriage, but you can make it perfect in your own marriage.

I would say: Appreciation, Respect, and Love from each spouse

To do what ever it takes to fix problems in the marriage, rather then running away and looking for an easy way out by getting a divorce. Doing, rather than saying. Give, give, and keep giving! Treat him like a King, he will treat you like a Queen!

No, I never do because I know nothing on earth is perfect. But the young people with a brain might think otherwise. But, a lot of white couples like you and your wife always think that they can have the 'perfect marriage' simply because you two are white.

Perfect partner?
Each gives 100% effort to every aspect in marriage(housework, finances, childcare, communciation, compassion, etc.)
100% Honest
100% Faithful
100% Loving
100% Compassionate
100% Lifelong Commitment(through sickness and in good health)

No one will be perfect but with the qualities above practiced by both of you it will seem that they are in your eyes!

Ther are NO perfect marriages, there can't be a perfect marriage. In order for there to be a perfect marriage both partners would have to be perfect and if they are human then they are FAR from perfect.

I am lucky enough to have it - total trust, total honesty, we talk about every issue until we see each other's point, we each try every day to make the other happy, because we cannot be happy unless the other is, we give all we can to make each other happy, with no thought of the return, we tell each other every time we speak. how much they are loved, what makes us special, etc. Never thought perfection and realism could mesh so well, but it has been 16 years together, 12 since we last fought...love really does conquer all!

My perfect partner would have been respectfull, funny, understanding, trustwordy.I hate aggressive men.I like them calm and melow. That way they make the best desisions in life.Perfect marriage should be fainasialy comfortable. Most of the arguments are over money. To resolve conflicts, the perfect parner would want to seat dawn with his wife and talk about it.Find out why, what happened and what's the best soulution.Perfect partner would want to listen to his wife,to know what she is talking about.Honestly, there is no perfect partner.Don't even get married.

Common interests in profession, recreation, religion, family relations and intimacy. Lots of love and libido (the glues that hold a marriage together) will smooth over any small defects in items in the first sentence.
