If he has stopped since you became pregnant that is a good sign of him becoming a great dad. You should talk to him about the importance of not starting again. It most likely wont affect the babies health since he quit.

The nicotine will run out of your system before you know it. As long as you, or your boyfriend, are not smoking now, your fetus will be fine. As far as the weed goes, my cousin smoked weed during her pregnancy... she consulted with her gyno about her smoking weed and he said that her fetus would be fine if she smoked from time to time. Her daughter is now 2 years old and as bright as can be. She is fine even though her mom smoked weed during the pregnancy. Not all gyno's will agree, but in this case, it worked out. I hope this helps you out. Congrats on your pregnancy.

It shouldn't as long as he stopped after he found out your were preggo. Honestly, some people may post all this inconclusive evidence of what can happen but some women drink through their pregnancy and nothing happens, I think they should lose their children for intentionally endangering them. Point is, it's different for everyone.

I do not think you need to worry too much. It is great to hear that he has stopped now that you know you are pregnant, good on him. You needn't worry, just concentrate on making the yourselves healthier now, it will benefit both of you and the baby.

Whole generations of children were conceived by men who smoked, so I wouldn't worry about it. The important thing is he has given it up now.

I think you should be fine, especially since you are taking more steps toward making sure that your baby is healthy now that you are pregnant, but if you want your child to have a good future you should invest in some hooked on phonics.

I doubt it. I knew this one girl that smoked pot and cigarettes while she was pregnant, and her baby turned out just fine. But I don't recommend doing that...she was pretty dumb for doing that really. But as long as you didn't do any of that stuff, I think your baby should be okay.

His smoking before hand won't affect your baby. You're lucky he stopped smoking, wish my boyfriend would.
