I have a bad relationship history. Somehow, I have a guy that REALLY loves me...regardless. He is wonderful. Yet, I do not feel the true signs of love, i.e., butterflies, constant worry and thought...the signs I'm in love. Is this bad or even normal?

He has loved me so truly more than any other man has. Do I have an addiction to men who treat me like crap and that's why I can't feel? Or is he just not the guy (soul mate) for me?

In your relationship, he is the lover and you are the beloved. If he's as wonderful as you say, think about why you would reject him. If you have an addiction to men who treat you badly, why don't you keep dating this nice guy and meanwhile get some therapy so you can feel better about yourself and realize you deserve to be happy?

yes and its the best thing that ever happened to me. you dont have to marry this person but please dont dump him.
give it a chance . there is so much change that takes place in our hearts over time.
i dont think that i was truely in love with my husband when i married him. i really liked him alot and he made me feel very secure and cared for. i just kept asking god to show me how beautiful he was and thats exactly what happened. when your with the same person for years and years its a roller coaster ride. at times you may think how can you still love this person so much and on the other hand sometimes you may feel like you dont even want to look at them. but thats the way it is.
loving and caring for someone is easy its the in love part thats hard.

No! That's Your Choice and Only Yours. You have to Decide What is More Important to YOU! No one can read your mind. I have heard it said that within each couple, there is one who loves the other one more. You have to make the jump! This is Your Call!! Good Luck!

The lioness is attracted to the "beast".

You pretty much said it all.
I can't help but wonder "can there be a slight chance that you do love him but you are just taking him for granted because you know he'll be there"?.................... Nah! It's clear you don't give a damn about him because he's not a bad boy.

No. He is not the man for you. A good friend but nothing more.
