California is home to many different gangs. Certain clothes can be mistaken for whether or not a person is in a certain gang. I'd like to know which type and color of clothes to avoid wearing. Suggestions of neutral gang affiliated clothes would be appreciated.

Red=bloods
Blue=crips
I'm sure there's more. White probably would be the safest color.

Red tshirts is one. Although I know of a school who's "against looking like gangs" uniform policy allows red tshirts. So the kids end up looking like gang members after school . (just some stupidity I saw)
Another is White t-shirts and baggy jeans. Although just about everybody has a white t-shirt and jeans, so any one can be harassed with that look. or Depending on where you are it can blend with mixed company just looking hip. Same goes for black and tan.

I wear black. I think it would be safe in gang areas. Just stay away from red or blue.
